Delete Loan Disbursement

A loan Disbursement can be deleted as long as there are no repayments that have been made on the loan. In case there are repayments on the loan, then all corresponding repayments have to be deleted at Loans/Delete Loan Entries/Delete Repayment before the loan disbursement can be available for deletion.

How to Delete Loan Disbursement?

To Delete Loan Disbursement you go to Loans/Delete Loan Entries/Delete Loan Disbursement. A screen like one below appears:

From the displayed scroll window, click on the loan number whose disbursement is to be deleted.
Enter a reason why the selected disbursement is being deleted in the Reason text box. e.g. as seen below:

Click on the Save button to complete. (The loan disbursement is deleted and a Loan Performer confirmation dialog is displayed with the loan details)

Click on the Yes button to save the deletion. (The loan is now available in the pending loan disbursements list).

N.B: For FoxPro databases, you need to purge after deleting the Loan Disbursement. This is done at System/Purge.
